A Hollywood actress must fulfill community service hours. Her lawyer arranges for her to serve her hours by helping with the Christmas pageant in his Midwestern hometown. She has visions of making it "spectacular", while the townspeople are in favor of more traditional scenes. In the end, the actress learns the true meaning of Christmas.
